Montessori-Trained RECE (Casa) – Experienced Early Childhood Educator

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Montessori-trained RECE in good standing with the CECE to join our Casa program. This role is ideal for a confident educator who can lead a classroom with professionalism, consistency, and a deep respect for Montessori philosophy.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver an authentic Montessori Casa (3–6) program with fidelity and purpose
- Prepare and maintain a beautiful, orderly, and engaging classroom environment
- Guide children’s independence, concentration, and social development
- Observe, document, and support each child’s individual growth
- Build strong, professional relationships with families
- Ensure full compliance with CCEYA and Ministry licensing requirements
- Collaborate with leadership and colleagues to uphold the school’s high standards
- Provide mentorship and direction to classroom assistants
Qualifications
- Montessori Casa certification (AMI, MACTE, or equivalent) (required)
- RECE in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE) (required)
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience leading a Montessori classroom (experienced candidates preferred)
- Strong, demonstrated understanding of:
- Montessori philosophy and materials
- Classroom leadership and organization
- Ontario licensing requirements and How Does Learning Happen?
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Current First Aid & CPR-C certification
- Valid Vulnerable Sector Check
